Building Depot is Ontario's Authorized MegaDome Dealer for engineered fabric buildings. We supply, engineer, foundation-pour and install hot-dip galvanized fabric structures across Ontario for agricultural, industrial, mining, municipal, aviation, commercial and equestrian use.

Building Depot serves the entire province of Ontario, including the GTA, Ottawa, Hamilton, Niagara, London, Windsor, Kingston, Barrie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, North Bay and every city in between.

Is Building Depot an authorized MegaDome dealer?

Yes. Building Depot is Ontario's Authorized MegaDome Dealer and sells the full MegaDome series (HP, HHP, XP, XL, DB and AR) with Ontario-stamped engineering and manufacturer warranty.

What warranty does Building Depot offer?

MegaDome fabric membranes carry a 15-year prorated warranty, and hot-dip galvanized steel frames are engineered for a 50+ year service life. Foundations and installation carry a 1-year workmanship warranty.

Can you price the building supply only so we carry our own installation?

Yes. We regularly quote supply only, supply and installation, or the complete turnkey scope including engineering, foundation, doors, ventilation and electrical coordination. Tell us the division of work you want carried and the quote will state it clearly.

Will you coordinate with our foundation subtrade?

Yes. We issue the base reactions and anchor requirements so your concrete subtrade can build to them, or we can design and construct the foundation ourselves as part of our scope.

How much lead time do you need?

It depends on the series, size, options and the season. Give us the required on-site date with your enquiry and we will confirm a realistic fabrication and installation window before you commit to it in your own schedule.

What does your crew need on site?

Clear, compacted access for delivery trucks and lifting equipment, a completed and cured foundation with anchors placed to the issued drawings, and an agreed laydown area. We confirm the full list in writing before mobilization.

Can you provide a scoped price we carry in a bid?

Yes. Send the tender documents through our Tender Centre and we return a priced scope written so your estimator can carry it directly, along with the technical information the consultant will ask for.

Do you work outside the Greater Toronto Area?

We work across Ontario, including Eastern, Southwestern and Northern Ontario. Distance and site access affect mobilization cost and are stated in the quote rather than added later.

The risk in a fabric building subcontract is rarely the fabric. It is the gap between the structure package, the foundation, the doors and the crew that has to put it up in February. Building Depot closes that gap by carrying the scope end to end — or by clearly stating where our scope stops so nothing falls between trades.

As Ontario's authorized MegaDome dealer we quote from the actual engineered system, not a placeholder allowance, so the number you carry at bid is the number you build to.
