ACCESSORIES & BUILDING OPTIONS

Engineered around how you actually use the building.

Every Building Depot dome is configured per project. Doors, anchors and ventilation are not afterthoughts — they're engineered into the structure so the building works the way your operation works.

Side Door

A full-height sliding or bi-parting side door cut into the sidewall — engineered to fit loaders, tandem trucks and end-dumps without losing the gable-end stockpile depth. Framed in hot-dip galvanized steel, insulated cladding optional, and integrated into the structural arch so the dome rating is preserved.

  • Drive-through access without sacrificing stockpile length
  • Hot-dip galvanized frame engineered into the arch
  • Sized to your loader, truck or end-dump
  • Manual or motorized — sliding or bi-parting

End-Wall Doors

Full-width end-wall doors open the gable to its complete clear span — the right choice when you need to move oversized loads, mobile equipment or finished assemblies straight through the building. Hot-dip galvanized steel frames, heavy-duty rollers and bracing engineered to match the dome's wind and snow rating.

  • Opens to the full clear-span width of the building
  • Designed for oversized equipment and tandem traffic
  • Bi-parting sliding, hinged or motorized configurations
  • Weather-sealed perimeter with reinforced wind bracing

Conveyor Opening

Most aggregate, salt, sand and bulk-material buildings are filled by a stacker or radial conveyor. We engineer a dedicated conveyor opening — gable-end or sidewall — sized to your belt geometry, drop height and stockpile angle of repose, so you fill the dome to its full clear-span volume.

  • Sized to your stacker / radial conveyor
  • Engineered for full stockpile angle of repose
  • Weather-sealed boot to protect the membrane
  • Combined with overhead or side door for truck-out

Special Features

Beyond the shell, every Building Depot dome can be configured into a fully operational, climate-managed facility. Ventilation, insulation, heating and automation are engineered together so the building performs the way your operation needs it to — quiet storage, controlled environment for livestock or product, or a smart, monitored industrial space.

  • Ventilation — natural and mechanical systems sized to building volume
  • Controlled environment — temperature and humidity tuned to the application
  • Insulation packages for year-round thermal performance
  • Industrial heating — radiant, forced-air or unit heaters
  • Smart building automation — monitoring and remote control of doors, vents, climate
  • Foundation options — concrete, push walls, blocks, piers or P2000 helical anchors

Ventilation Package

Air quality is engineered into the structure, not bolted on after. Ridge vents, gable louvres, powered exhaust fans and intake openings are sized to your building volume and use-case — livestock, salt and fertilizer, indoor riding arenas, manufacturing — to control humidity, ammonia, dust and heat year-round.

  • Continuous ridge vents and gable louvres
  • Powered exhaust fans sized to building volume
  • Specialized configurations for livestock, salt, dust and heat
  • Specified per application — no generic packages

Doors

Every Building Depot dome is engineered with the door system your operation actually needs. Overhead garage doors size up to 28' W × 24' H — including partial high-lift and high-lift configurations — keep the architectural integrity of the structure intact. Side doors are fully customizable for versatile, day-to-day use, and pedestrian doors can be fitted with a panic bar to meet life-safety codes. Snow deflectors are installed over side doors to eliminate the risk of snow sliding off the dome onto traffic below.

  • Garage doors up to 28' W × 24' H — partial high-lift and high-lift available
  • One or two garage doors per building, sized to your equipment
  • Customizable side doors for versatile day-to-day access
  • Snow deflectors over side doors to manage sliding snow loads
  • Pedestrian doors available with panic bar to meet safety norms
