A single 24-foot HVLS fan replaces 10-20 conventional wall fans, moves the same air with 80% less energy and eliminates the noise, drafts and cold-spot problems of high-speed axial fans. For MegaDome fabric buildings — where clear-spans reach 200 feet and eaves reach 40 feet — HVLS is the only cost-effective way to homogenize the air column.
Building Depot integrates HVLS fans into the MegaDome shop drawings, mounts them from Ontario-stamped structural support brackets, and coordinates the control system with radiant heat, make-up air and exhaust. Common deployments: dairy barns for cow cooling and heat-stress reduction; indoor soccer domes for air movement over the field; distribution warehouses for winter destratification.
