The MegaDome membrane is a heavy-duty woven polyester core coated with PVC, hot-air welded at every seam for a single watertight skin. It resists UV, abrasion, fire, mould and the freeze-thaw cycle that destroys lesser fabrics.
Translucent panels let in roughly 12% natural daylight — workers can safely operate equipment inside without electric lighting through the working day. The fabric carries a 15-year prorated warranty and typically lasts 20-25 years in Ontario conditions.
