Ridge Ventilation Ontario
Continuous ridge vent systems for MegaDome fabric buildings — full-length passive ventilation, engineered airflow, no moving parts and no power draw.
Built for purpose. Built for Ontario.
Ridge ventilation is the workhorse of MegaDome passive ventilation. A weather-hooded aluminum extrusion runs the full length of the ridge, allowing hot, humid or contaminated air to exit at the highest point of the building — driven by stack effect, not by fans. On a 60' × 200' MegaDome, a full-length ridge vent moves 20,000+ CFM without any electrical consumption.
Building Depot integrates ridge vents into the MegaDome shop drawings, coordinates with gable louvers and wall exhaust fans for cross-flow, and stamps the whole package for Ontario Building Code. Common uses: dairy barns for ammonia control, salt sheds for moisture control, sports domes for heat exhaust, and workshop bays for weld-fume ventilation.
The MegaDome advantage.
