Building Depot is Ontario's Authorized MegaDome Dealer for engineered fabric buildings. We supply, engineer, foundation-pour and install hot-dip galvanized fabric structures across Ontario for agricultural, industrial, mining, municipal, aviation, commercial and equestrian use.

Is Building Depot an authorized MegaDome dealer?

Yes. Building Depot is Ontario's Authorized MegaDome Dealer and sells the full MegaDome series (HP, HHP, XP, XL, DB and AR) with Ontario-stamped engineering and manufacturer warranty.

What warranty does Building Depot offer?

MegaDome fabric membranes carry a 15-year prorated warranty, and hot-dip galvanized steel frames are engineered for a 50+ year service life. Foundations and installation carry a 1-year workmanship warranty.

What documents should I send with a tender?

Whatever the tender package contains: drawings, specifications, site plans, geotechnical information, addenda, the instructions to bidders and the closing date. If a full package is not yet available, building dimensions, the intended use and the site location are enough for us to start.

How far ahead of closing should I submit?

As early as possible. Engineering coordination, foundation review and door or ventilation selections all affect pricing, so more lead time produces a more complete and more competitive submission. For tight closings, call 1-800-398-5053 so we can confirm we have time to respond properly.

Can Building Depot price only part of the scope?

Yes. We regularly price the building supply alone, supply and installation, or the complete turnkey scope including engineering, foundation, doors, ventilation and electrical coordination. Tell us the division of work you need covered.

Do you work with general contractors bidding a larger project?

Yes. We provide a scoped fabric building price you can carry in your own bid, along with the technical information your estimator and the consultant need.

Can you help before a tender is issued?

Yes. Owners, municipalities and consultants often ask us for preliminary sizing, budget ranges and specification input at the design stage so the issued tender reflects what an engineered fabric building actually requires.

Is the information I submit confidential?

Submissions are reviewed by our Ontario project team and used only to prepare your response. We do not share tender documents outside that review.

From document to priced scope.

1. Document review

We read the drawings, specification sections, addenda and instructions to bidders, and confirm what is actually being asked of the fabric building supplier.

2. Building and engineering scope

We select the MegaDome series and configuration that suits the span, clear height and site loading, and identify the engineering and stamped-drawing requirements.

3. Foundation, doors and site scope

Foundation type, end walls, doors, ventilation and electrical coordination are scoped so the price reflects a buildable project rather than a bare structure.

4. Pricing and schedule

You receive tender pricing with the scope clearly stated, along with lead time and installation scheduling, in time for closing.
