Is Building Depot an authorized MegaDome dealer?

Yes. Building Depot is Ontario's Authorized MegaDome Dealer and sells the full MegaDome series (HP, HHP, XP, XL, DB and AR) with Ontario-stamped engineering and manufacturer warranty.

What warranty does Building Depot offer?

MegaDome fabric membranes carry a 15-year prorated warranty, and hot-dip galvanized steel frames are engineered for a 50+ year service life. Foundations and installation carry a 1-year workmanship warranty.

Can you respond to a municipal tender or RFP?

Yes. Send the package through our Tender Centre with the closing date. We review the drawings, specifications and addenda and return a priced scope covering the building, engineering, foundation, doors, ventilation and installation as required by the documents.

Do you help before a tender is issued?

Yes. Public works departments regularly ask us for preliminary sizing, budget ranges and specification input at the capital planning stage, so the issued tender reflects what an engineered fabric building actually requires.

Why are fabric buildings common for salt and sand storage?

The clear-span interior lets a loader work the full pile without interior columns, and the membrane roof carries no salt-corroding steel deck above the stockpile. Building Depot supplies these as engineered structures on concrete stem walls designed for the push loads of a stored pile.

Are the buildings designed to the Ontario Building Code?

Yes. Buildings are engineered to the Ontario Building Code and to the site-specific snow, wind and seismic loads for the municipality, and are issued with drawings stamped by a professional engineer licensed in Ontario for your permit submission.

Can one building be used for fleet and equipment as well?

Yes — public works yards frequently combine storage, fleet parking and a maintenance area. Clear height, door sizes, ventilation and heating are configured for the mix of uses you describe.

Do you service buildings after they are installed?

Yes. We provide inspection, maintenance, repairs, hardware and tensioning work, and membrane replacement on existing structures across Ontario.
